Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Regarding the Pokenine List

It has recently come to attention concerning a few pokemon on our list of allowed canines. There have been some new additions, as well as some old ones that called for confirmation.

Absol will remain unless a there is large upheaval because it's species is just too obscure.

Arceus will not be added, as it is more equine, if anything.

Entei, Raikou, and Suicune will remain, as they are BEASTS that share some feline and canine traits.

Espeon will remain, as it would be slightly awkward to allow the other eeveelutions and exclude one.

Sylveon has already been added, and any new eeveelutions will be added in the future.

Zigzagoon and Linoone have been added, as they are based off of raccoon-dogs, and are therefor canid in inspiration.

The Rules and FAQ have been updated to accomodate any changes.

Ninfia Announced!

Edit 14.02.13 English name announced. Ninfia will, from now on, be referred to as Sylveon. The rules and FAQ have been updated to accomodate this new change.

As many of you already know, the newest eeveelution Ninfia was announced yesterday. Being an eeveelution, she is naturally to be included in this group. Feel free to submit any art related to Ninfia to our Featured folder. Again, we'll do our best to keep you updated on new canines.

New Generation, New Canine Pokemon

As you no doubt already know, there has been an announcement for two new pokemon games -- Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. In particular, it is the fire-type starter Fennekin that merits attention.

As Fennekin is based on the Fennec fox, she is most assuredly a canine and thus has been added to the list of allowable canines. We'll be keeping close attention for future canine additions, as well as Fennekin's evolutions.

yay I new there would be a new eeveelution (cuz my brother told me) and I also heard (though not confirmed yet) that there are supposed to be like 3 more eeveelutions (not to sure how many new ones there will be)

_{Besides Sylveon there isn't much else we do know. I haven't heard of any more eeveelutions, and many speculate that if there were any more they would have been released at the same time Sylveon was. Either way, we'll keep our eyes peeled for updates.}
